Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

This Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement relates to actions and activities during the Group’s financial year 1st January 2022 to 31st January 2022.

The statement sets down Eberhardt & Partner’s (E&P) commitment to preventing slavery and human trafficking in our business activities and the steps we have put in place with the aim of ensuring that there is no slavery or human trafficking in our own business and supply chains. We all have a duty to be alert to risks, however small. Staff are expected to report their concerns and management to act upon them.

Organisational structure and supply chains

This statement covers the business activities of the E&P Group which are as follows:

  • E&P Consulting – Project Management and Project Management Office (PMO) services.
  • E&P Data – Data Management and Migration services 

The Company currently operates in the following countries:

  • Germany / Switzerland – Project Management consulting services for systems implementation in insurance, banking, and telecommunication industries.
  • United Kingdom / India – Technical Data Management / Migration services in retail and telecommunication industries.

E&P is a rapidly expanding consultancy. E&P primarily seeks to employ its consultants but, in some cases, it reaches out to its partners to provide skilled resources. E&P’s current business partners operate from Italy and India and form E&P’s supply chains.

Risk Assessment

By using available literature on modern slavery, E&P evaluates its activities as low risk:

  • E&P is a people company. E&P people are valued and to create a highly effective business we know each other very well.
  • Resources provided by business partners always work alongside E&P employees and are incorporated into E&P teams.
  • E&P’s business partner resources are professional, articulate individuals. We always interview any external resources and seek to know them as well as our employees.
  • E&P company days brings employees and business partner resources physically together from various countries, not only for information sharing, but social time to allow colleagues to get to know each other better.

E&P is proud to have established its WAGILE™ governance framework for delivering its services. All our staff are trained in our governance processes through the WAGILE™ Academy. Part of this training encompasses a key governance principle “Manage Cultural Impact”. This module is concerned with awareness and empowerment of the individual to build effective delivery teams. Treating people as individuals is key to our success and part of our company values. Our governance methods and values provide a platform for any concerns about any individual to be raised.

As E&P expands and work with new partners, we realise that to ensure a good understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains our training material will need to be supplemented with additional, specific training and reference material.

Policies – Whistleblowing 

E&P is committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our business or our supply chains. This Statement affirms our intention to act ethically in our business relationships.

We encourage all employee and staff working through business partners to report any concerns related to its direct activities or its supply chains.

Due Diligence Processes for Slavery and Human Trafficking

E&P undertakes due diligence when considering taking on new suppliers. As an SME, we refer to our suppliers as partners having formed long-standing relationships prior to formally working together. We make our expectations clear to our partners and, through transparent / open communication (including the topic of renumeration), we evaluate their modern slavery and human trafficking risks.

Performance indicators

E&P uses the following key performance indicators to measure how effective we are in ensuring slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in any part of our business or supply chains:

  • Annual risk assessment before publication of revised statement.
  • Employee feedback agenda items after training and at company days.

We will continue to develop due diligence procedures and provide on-going monitoring of suppliers.

This Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement will be regularly reviewed and updated as necessary. The E&P management team endorses this policy statement and is fully committed to its implementation.
