At E&P, we’re not just talking about climate, we’re taking action! As ClimatePartner certified company, we have committed ourselves to a transparent annual calculation of our carbon footprint. We have also defined a reduction target, which we aim to achieve with the help of various major and minor measures.


As compensation for our emissions, we are investing in carefully selected projects that make a real difference.

Our mission is a 30% emissions reduction by 2030. We aim to achieve net ZERO, and every action matters.

This is how we plan on making a positive impact:

Emission Calculation

We’re not just looking at what’s obvious. We calculate all three emission scopes to get the full picture, ensuring transparency and accountability. Together with ClimatePartner, we calculated our carbon footprint for 2023 which was a total of 59.920 kg.


Our primary goal is to reduce our emissions. However, we know that for now there will always be a remaining part that we cannot avoid or further reduce. That is why we offset 100% of our annual emission by supporting relevant climate protection projects in Germany and worldwide.

 

Emission Calculation

We’re not just looking at what’s obvious. We calculate all three emission scopes to get the full picture, ensuring transparency and accountability.

With ClimatePartner, we started calculating our carbon footprint journey in 2022, with a total of 49 t CO₂, reaching 39.49 t CO₂ in 2024. 


Our goal in 2025 is to take it a step further into this amazing and inspiring process and proudly achieve 35 t CO₂ by the end of the year, which we can’t wait to reach and share.


Reducing emissions is at the heart of what we do. While some emissions are currently unavoidable, we proudly offset 100% of them by supporting impactful climate protection projects in Germany and around the world, turning every challenge into a tangible step for our planet.
